Multi-Function Hall

　　The multi-function hall integrates calligraphy and painting, recreation, reading and tea ceremony of Songhua stone into one. The more considerate and humanized services have enhanced the level of museum exhibition.

　　松花石不仅能作为观赏石和砚材，也是制作茶台、茶具的上好材料。休憩区展出的松花石茶台和松花石茶具，给参观者提供了亲身体验“松花石茶道”的机会。枫叶、白桦、梅花鹿等自然景观营造出休闲自然的环境。

　　Songhua stone can be used not only as ornamental stone and the material of ink stone, but as the good material of producing tea tables and tea sets. The tea tables and tea sets made of Songhua stone which are exhibited in the recreation area provide an opportunity to the visitors to experience the “tea ceremony of Songhua stone”. The natural landscapes of maple, birch, spotted deer, etc. create a relaxing natural environment.

　　中式元素—仿古桌、屏风、博古架、文房四宝烘托出历史浓厚的松花砚文化，也为一些书法家、书法爱好者提供了挥毫泼墨的场所。

　　The Chinese elements - antique tables, screens, antique shelf and four treasures of the study express a strong history of the culture of Songhua ink stone and provide some calligraphers and calligraphy lovers with a place of ink brushing and splashing.

　　展示百余种松花石、砚相关的书籍，搭建了解松花石砚和江源文化的平台。

　　More than 100 kinds of books related to Songhua stones and ink stone are being exhibited so as to build platform for the understanding of the 　　　　　Songhua ink stone and Jiangyuan culture.

松花石编磬

　　Chime Made of Songhua Stone

　　松花石编磬，是迄今为止我国唯一一套以松花石材打造而成的编磬。灵感源于康熙盛赞松花御砚：“寿古而质润，色绿而声清”。本编磬以松花石切片大小及薄厚程度加工而成，分高中低三组音色，共二十四片，可演奏古往今来各种乐章，是音律神韵、历史文化、精湛工艺之美作。

　　The chime made of Songhua stone is the only one set of chime which is made of Songhua stone inChina. The inspiration came from the praise of Songhua imperial ink stone by Kangxi: “Long in history but smooth in quality; green color with clear sound.” The chime is processed with the size and thickness of the slices of Songhua stone and three groups of high, medium and low tone are divided, and there are totally twenty-four slices. It can play a variety of movement through the ages, and it is a beautiful work of temperament charm, history & culture and exquisite craftsmanship.
